  1. Honestly I’m pretty happy with all the choices for winners, especially in the animated department. I was absolutely sick of seeing Coco win every single award it possibly could get, and throwing a bone to Theodore Shapiro for once felt great. I hope to see How to Train Your Dragon 3 be nominated and win in the 2019 awards.

  3. Thanks for watching so that I wouldn”t have to, lol. I don”t get to watch many movies these days, the last movie I saw that I enjoyed was Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets. Not exactly Oscar-worthy, lol (but I enjoyed it). I was thinking of trying to see The Shape of Water, sounded like maybe my style, but then I heard that it”s actually pretty violent. Valerian had some violence of course. I say “of course because nowadays all sci-fi/action movies are saturated with it. I wish there were more cerebral-type sci-fi movies made. But I may be one of the few who actually liked Solaris (2002) which is definitely not a shoot”em up” type sci-fi I like how this reviewer described it: It is about people, desires, regrets and what we would be willing to do if we could have that one thing we cannot have back. Thank you for your mini-reviews.
