The timetable for the 2025 International Film Music Critics Association Awards has been set. The critical dates are as follows:
- Friday, January 23, 2026 – Send out nominations ballots
- Sunday, February 8, 2026 (11pm Los Angeles time) – Deadline to nominate
- Thursday, February 12, 2026 – Announce nominees
- Friday, February 13, 2026 – Send out final winners ballots
- Saturday, February 21, 2026 (noon Los Angeles time) – Deadline for final vote
- Thursday, February 26, 2026 – Announce winners

Additional Information regarding the Archival Categories
Following discussions within the IFMCA during the year, it has been decided that the Best Archival Release category will again be split into multiple smaller categories which recognize Expanded Re-Issues and New Recordings separately. Further information as to the specifics of the categories will be released in due course. Furthermore, the IFMCA decided that, beginning with this year’s awards, the Film Music Record Label of the Year award will no longer be presented.
